Our continued support of Czech bestsellers
Yesterday, the Books World Fair saw the selection of the most successful book titles of last year. Once again, our company was one of the competition sponsors and the director of NetDirect took part in presenting the awards to the winning authors and publishers. The award ceremony was then followed by evening presentation of our FastCentrik product. FastCentrik is the most popular, salable system among Czech and Slovak booksellers and it is used by close to eighty booksellers – a number which is still growing.
Czech bestseller – eleventh year
This year, for the eleventh time under the sponsorship of The Family Bookstore - the largest network of partner bookstores in the Czech Republic, the best-selling books for the 2009 year were announced. Among the nominated titles were books by Czech authors such as Michal Vieweg, Zdenek Sverak, Halina Pawlowska, Ladislav Spacek or Tomas Sedlacek.
Bara Nesvadbova proved that she is not only a great writer, but also great moderator.

Interest in the Czech bestseller was so high that it was hard to fit everybody into the hall. Of course, the visitors made a space for Mrs. Halina Pawlowska to pass.
