NetDirect spreads IT awareness among high school students
On November 26th, 2010, NetDirect, in collaboration with High School of Teleinformatics in Ostrava-Poruba, prepared a presentation for students of the 4th year of study. The aim of the presentation was to show the students a backstage of a prospering software company.
The presentation was divided into several parts. At the beginning, there was a general introduction of the company. The students were acquainted with how the production and service work on the ShopCentrik and FastCentrik Department, what other departments there are in the company, and we also acquainted the students with what a programmer should be able to do.

High school students found liking in the software company
At the end of the presentation, there were some evaluation questionnaires circulating among the students. The most of them were satisfied and found the presentation very interesting. They like such presentations because it helps them to gain better awareness about job offers in Ostrava companies.
Some students study a different field than programming, have no experience with it and, therefore, they would not dare to do such job. However, those students who know the IT industry were very enthusiastic about the offer and would like to work in NetDirect.
