In the 2010 ShopRoku (Shop of the Year) competition, online stores using e-commerce platforms ShopCentrik and FastCentrik, created by NetDirect, have achieved absolute victory three times, another one has achieved second position and four other e-shops using NetDirect solutions have achieved third position in their categories.

The aim of the 2010 ShopRoku competition was to find the best e-shops from the customer’s point of view. The competitive tournament of online stores announces winners within two sections:

  • Quality Award, in which real customers evaluates the quality of services after shopping in  an e-shop;
  • and Popularity Award, in which any Internet user can vote for an e-shop they like the most.

Customers demand low prices, free shipping, fast delivery and communication

More and more people in the Czech Republic use online shopping and everyone is looking for quality merchandise for a good price, and generous services such as clearly arranged e-shop, big photos, rich descriptions, the choice of payment methods, fast home delivery (preferably free), reliable shipping, information about the current status of customer’s order, quick response to customer’s inquiries or requests.

ShopRoku 2010: There were 500 000 Internet users  voting

Every e-shop can participate in the ShopRoku competition for free, the only thing that needs to be done is to implement the service Heureka.cz: Verified by customers. The voting was taking place throughout the whole year and, in total, there were around half a million shoppers voting.
